New construction day! 🔨 Showed up to a $600,000 home and they didn’t even unlock the door for me… which honestly should’ve been my first red flag. 😅 Inside? Smashed siding, loose half walls, and enough wild defects to make my coffee shake. But hey—don’t do that, right? #dontdothat #homeinspections #newconstruction #realestate #fyp | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

Part 2 – Interior Same $1.8M house… now let’s head inside 😅 Damaged doors, trim that needs a map, tubs not secured, and railings that don’t inspire confidence. Luxury price, starter-home attention to detail. This is why inspections matter 👀 | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

Almost $1,000,000 for a home and this is what shows up: unsealed exterior, improper paint, window locks not working, and damaged walls just painted over. Price tag does not equal quality. Don’t do that. #dontdothat #homeinspections #realestate #fyp | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

Over half a million dollars on a new build and nothing’s level. Siding’s waving, decking’s dipping… this house has more ups and downs than a roller coaster 🎢🏠 New build doesn’t mean problem-free. Don’t do that. #dontdothat #homeinspections #newbuild #realestate #fyp | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

Older home, ‘new’ balcony… and the world’s easiest escape route 😂 This railing left a gap big enough for kids, pets, or even an overly confident, slightly inebriated adult to walk straight onto the roof edge. Great for views… terrible for safety. #dontdothat #homeinspections #realestate #fyp | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

A million-dollar home in Colorado 🏔️💰 and somehow the doors won’t latch 🚪❌ and the windows refuse to close 🪟😑 Luxury price tag… landlord special execution 🛠️🤦‍♂️ This is exactly why inspections matter — new build or not, price doesn’t equal quality 🔍🏠 Don’t do that. 🚫👀 #dontdothat #homeinspections #realestate #fyp | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

New house or old house — don’t skip the sewer scope. 💩 New builds can still have damaged or offset lines, and older homes might be rocking cracked clay or Orangeburg. One of the priciest surprises you can get as a homeowner, so know what you’re buying. Shoutout to our guys at Proview Sewer Scopes for always catching the stuff you don’t wanna see! #homeinspector #homeinspection #hometips #safety #realestate | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

Whole wall available for a towel rack… and they put it right behind the shower door 😂💀 Door hits it every time. New builds be like: ‘We tried our best.’ #dontdothat #homeinspections #realestate #fyp | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

They installed the sink backwards… so now turning on the faucet feels like you’re arm-wrestling the wall 🤦‍♂️💦 Good old flips! Don’t Do That!™ #dontdothat #homeinspections #realestate #fyp | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

New homeowner said the dryer ‘kept shutting down’… turns out someone put a SCREEN on the dryer vent 🤦‍♂️🔥 The lint buildup was so bad the machine basically said ‘I’m out.’ This is how house fires start, folks. #dontdothat 😂🧺 | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC

For years, Lacey Fletcher disappeared from the world inside her own home. The people responsible for protecting her failed her completely. 💔 #LaceyFletcher #TrueCrime #JusticeForLacey

POV: You’re inspecting a house and the baseboard opens… 👀 Is it genius? Is it unhinged? Is it a secret drawer for snacks? Never seen this before, but honestly… kind of convenient 😂 Homeowners really said use every inch. #dontdothat #homeinspections #realestate #fyp | Fletcher's Home Inspections, LLC
