Easy way to determine the height of a tree & where it will fall when you cut it down using a level and basic math. If you point the level at the top of the tree, when the 45° bubble is in the middle you have a right angle meaning the length = height. Move forward or backwards till the bubble is in the middle then mark the spot (if your holding the level 6'up you need to mark 6'behind you).
