Mohamed Farrah Aidid, the strongman who George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton sent U.S. forces to Somalia to capture, has been dead for thirty years. But many of his closest advisors and thousands of his supporters now live in America. Aidid may have lost the the Battle of Mogadishu but he won the Battle of Minneapolis.
