Peter, (the Boxer), is doing so well in his short term emergency foster. He absolutely loves the other dogs in the home, both large and small, and is extremely respectful of the cats. His foster mom Leslie has helped him tremendously since he first came in to rescue however, she is only a very short term foster (days). Oh, it hurts to even look at this sweet one. THIS IS MANDY. She is just a baby and is in horrific shape. Her rear leg is swollen, hot to the touch and she is unable to walk. The fur that covers her tiny emaciated frame looks as if she been left out to fend for herself, and she is failing. We rushed Mandy to a 24 hour specialty hospital for emergency care. As our disposable society keeps breeding more while discarding others, we have to come together to save the ones that need the most. This week
