Driving is divided into Formal and Pleasure driving. In the 'formal' horses are shown in a light show harness with blinkers, overcheck or side check, a four-wheeled show vehicle is required. They are shown at a true, cadenced four beat walk, while in the 'pleasure' either a two or four-wheeled vehicle may be used. They are shown at a brisk, flat footed four beat walk, a balanced and free moving trot and a mannerly cadenced trot with a lengthened stride. | Arabian Insider
