growing this monster from a baby plant has been my greatest joy! my hoya compacta care: - ALL THE LIGHT, this sits directly in a west facing window indoors year round - fertilize! year round, every time I water, I use one capful of foliage pro per gallon of water, and add one capful of cal-mag once a month - chunky well draining mix, I use my own soilless mix of course, maybe biased but it’s the best 😝 - I let this plant dry out between waterings, I typically water deeply every 3 weeks or so -

variegated Hoya compacta ALWAYS gets labeled a slow grower, but in reality, they often just are not getting the care they need. They need BRIGHT DIRECT light. I keep mine directly in a west window. It’s important the plant actually “sees the sun,” none of that BS *bright indirect light* crap. My variegated compacta get at least 2,000 foot candles for a few hours a day.
