We take apart the 7.3L powerstroke diesel engine that came out of the project truck. This truck was bone stock, and the engine only had 180,000 miles on it. What could’ve caused the engine to go bad? The typical issue that lies dormant in most 7.3L powerstroke diesel engines is cracked pistons from unchecked EGT’s.
