Going back a couple of decades, festive advertising was mostly done through print in papers and magazines. We decided to take a look back at some retro Christmas ads from some of Dublin's favourite former stores. The following ads date from the '60s and '70s. They promote a number of stores and brands with locations or production sites around Dublin. Some are particularly reminiscent of many Dubs' childhood Christmases. For example, one of the ads is for Bolger's (where many a kid was kitted out
