Valve expected to drop the Index, maintain SteamVR and the PCVR market would grow organically from that. Which might have worked had Valve kept supporting and contributing to the PCVR community, including new headsets and games. Valve doesn't and the PCVR space has, depending on who you ask, either stagnated or moved to business use.

Upgraded GPU to 4090 and Valve Index doesn't like 144Hz anymore.
Same for me. Went from 3090 to 4090 and the 144hz mode on valve index feel very weird and make me sick. Fpsvr show no frame rate drop, it's locked at 144hz but something is weird. 80, 90, 120hz are fine.
