Dec 17, 2019 · There are at least three different versions of the Meade 4000 "Super Plossl. The original, pre 1998, was marked Japan on the black body and was a five element "Masayama clone" - seems to be the best and well worth while trialling.

Mar 11, 2011 · Tonight I bought a slightly used Meade ETX-60AT-BB with #494 AutoStar, and it came with 3 Meade Series 4000 Super Plossl EPs!! Also includes all EP cases, literature, and AutoStar Suite software disc and tripod. One of the EPs was still sealed in its case, never used.
