This is basic wrestling, but it is not followed by IHSAA. 5. There are no wrestlebacks. The addition of wrestlebacks would instantly solve most of problems 2, 3, and 4.

Dec 23, 2024 · The IHSAA is NOT going to change their ways of classification for one sport. Currently per the IHSAA by-laws we would be 3 classes of 33% each. The IHSAA says that you need 95% of the schools to sponsor the sport for it to be 4 classes. Currently there are 406 schools and that would mean 385 with wrestling. We are around 315ish, so a ways away.
