If only Valve spent as much time actually releasing games as they did cancelling them (because they can't jam microtransactions into them), we wouldn't have to wait literal decades for the conclusion to the Half-Life series and the company wouldn't be infamous for being a "game developer" that hasn't published anything worthwhile since 2011.

Sep 19, 2023 · Half life Alyx was produced to promote the Valve index. I don't know if we can expect more games from valve any time soon unless they release another gaming product like the index. I hope I'm wrong. All I'm saying is that there is a reason we haven't seen Half Life 3.

Dec 24, 2022 · Apparently Valve didn’t know that there were too many card games out on Steam at the time and people were burnt out with them. The fact you had to buy cards did not sit well with people since games like FIFA were getting called out by big name YouTubers for “scamming” people especially kids.
