Dec 23, 2022 · The Court also found that the Fifth District Court of Appeals erred when it decided that it had no authority to review and vacate Susan Gwynne’s sentence of 65 years in prison for 31 felony and 15 misdemeanor counts for which she agreed to plead guilty.
After negotiations with the state, Gwynne elected to enter pleas of guilty to 17 counts of second-degree burglary, 4 counts of third-degree theft, 10 counts of fourth-degree theft, and the 15 misdemeanor counts of receiving stolen property.
