Bardock (バーダック Bādakku) is a low-class Saiyan warrior, the husband of Gine, and the father of Raditz and Goku. He makes his debut as the titular protagonist of the 1990 TV special Dragon Ball Z: Bardock - The Father of Goku.

Xeno Bardock (バーダック：ゼノ Bādakku: Zeno) is an incarnation of Bardock from a world separate from the main timeline. Much like the main Bardock, he was brainwashed by the Dark Empire, temporarily becoming the Masked Saiyan.

Bardock is a mercenary first introduced in the television special Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku (1990) as the leader of a platoon of Saiyan warriors.

SSJ Bardock would be at 500k whereas Frieza's 1st form is at 530k. The two rubs with this Bardock being a grittier, harder-nosed, less forgiving guy than Goku: His lack of purity might prevent him from transforming into a Super Saiyan.

Dec 6, 2019 · While their Saiyan blood allows the aliens to make that transformation in the first place, it's not totally clear if a warrior like Bardock was capable of turning Super Saiyan in the main Dragon Ball universe.

MistareFusion's "Bardock not being special is what makes him special" is spot on. He was a tragic figure, a compete nobody, a hypocritical loser who was happy to commit genocide, but all the sudden has problems with Freeza when his race is on the chopping block.

Jul 5, 2023 · Perhaps Bardock was able to find five "righteous" saiyans (righteous being a varying detail) and perform the ritual, with Bardock being the recipient of the power of the Super Saiyan God. With that power, he could overcome Frieza and slay him for good.

Sep 9, 2023 · Bardock’s power as a Super Saiyan 3 is ridiculous, to say the least. Given the levels of power indicated, he should be more than capable of putting the universe at risk by fully unleashing his power, similar to Super Saiyan God Goku.

As a Super Saiyan, Bardock resembles his son. His hair becomes blond and stands up, his eyes turn into a light green, and he acquires a golden aura. His strength, like all Super Saiyans, increases in 50-fold.
