Oct 12, 2012 · His AR-15 was purchased in 1989 at a gun show. It's an early version AR-15 SP1 with a 4 digit serial number. I recommended to him, to remove any of the M16 parts it has and replaced them with AR-15 parts. M16 parts are the bolt carrier, trigger, disconnector, hammer. The buyer in Texas wants the original parts not the AR-15 parts in it.
