For us in the late 90's, it was usually bands like Pushmonkey, Canvas, Ritalin Kids, PowderBurn, Born 2 Lose, Vallejo and Blue October at Emo's, Backroom, The Metro and Lucy's for the most part. Of all the above I think Blue October and Vallejo are the only ones still around and none of those venues exist.
