May 11, 2020 · This monitor displays 2560x1080 when in Windows 10 safe mode and when the Intel 530 is disabled in device manager. The problem is with the driver. I have tried the OEM driver (which is just an old Intel driver) and the latest as of 2022-05-25. The driver has some type of issue and we would like a workaround or a fix, please.

Jun 22, 2020 · It is in the HPE Thin docking station. I have connected two LG 35 inch monitors. One monitor works at 3440 x 1440 with a refresh rate of 100 and the second works at 1920 x 1080 at any refresh rate. I have changed the cabling position on the docking station and Monitor number two only appears to work at the 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Dec 17, 2020 · Mind my monitor is still working like a dream on the 20.12.1 drive atm with me disconnecting the usb cable used to update the monitor OSB/software for the LG ultra wide. I will keep monitoring it and see how I get on. UPDATE: Just happened again, will go back to 20.9.1 for now until its fixed.

Aug 29, 2024 · I recently bought an external monitor which is an LG 27GQ50F-B Ultragear monitor, which has a refresh rate of 165Hz over a DisplayPort connection and 144Hz over an HDMI connection. Since this laptop has only an HDMI connector I bought an HDMI 2.0 for it to fully support the refresh rate that the monitor offers.

Mar 6, 2020 · Hi, I have a XFX 5700XT and a LG 34UC79G 34" Ultra Wide Display with a resolution of 2560x1080. After installing the 2020 20.2.2-mar5 driver my screen was maxed out at 1280x1024 and 75hz. I could only change it when I re-install the driver. After a reboot it was back to this weird resolution.
