SpaceX is set to launch its next Starship test, Flight 11, as soon as 7:15 p.m. ET Monday from the company’s South Texas launch facilities.

SpaceX will conduct the 11th test flight of its Starship rocket Monday amid concerns that the United States is losing the race to return humans to the moon.

Texas ranks second among states with the most open commercial space jobs, according to a new report from the Space Workforce Incubator for Texas.

With Starbase’s newly acquired power, the company may decide to close down the beach to support the development of its Starship rocket. Starship is scheduled to liftoff for its 11th test flight on Monday, October 13. Once Starship is fully operational, SpaceX aims to launch its giant rocket from Starbase as many as 25 times a year.
