Texas senators approved several bills Monday, one of which included another attempt at blocking hemp-derived THC products.

The Texas House Committee of Public Health was the latest to hold a public hearing Wednesday about Senate Bill 5, the current special session’s newly drafted THC bill which is starkly similar to a previous bill Governor Greg Abbott vetoed June 22 and reignited debate among the hemp business community and law enforcement across Texas.
