A man who was wanted in connection with child sex crimes was shot and killed by a Pinal County Sheriff's sergeant on the night of July 18.

ELOY, AZ (AZFamily) — A freeway crash left two people dead and another seriously injured in Pinal County on Thursday evening. According to the Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 6:15 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-10 near Picacho, roughly five miles outside of Eloy.

WINKELMAN, AZ — Pinal County Sheriff's Office officials say a man is dead after a shooting involving deputies on Friday. Officials say deputies were in the town of Winkelman, Arizona, east of Florence, attempting to locate a "wanted suspect in connection with a sex crimes against children investigation."
