After an outstanding freshman season with the Blue Devils, the star is set to make his NBA debut on Wednesday.

Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison surprised the sports world when he traded Luka Dončić last season. Then he shockingly ended up with the No. 1 pick in this year's draft, which landed him Cooper Flagg, the youngest draftee to go first overall since LeBron James in 2003.

NBA debutants will have their first games commemorated with a patch -- one that will be removed and placed on one-of-a-kind autographed trading cards following use.

"Cooper Flagg's basic production (11.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks) from this preseason doesn't leap off the screen, but several individual plays certainly have," Bailey wrote.

College basketball sensation AJ Dybantsa made his highly anticipated debut for the BYU Cougars on Saturday and instantly left the fans in awe.

In the preseason, Kidd experimented with the 6-foot-9 Flagg as a point guard while Irving rehabs a torn ACL in his left knee. Flagg averaged 11.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 21.8 minutes per game during the Mavs' four preseason games.

Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers will take on Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks in preseason play at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
