Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while praising it, said that it is a “people’s budget” as it puts more money in the hands of people and it is a force-multiplier that will increase investments and lead to growth.

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the full budget of the fiscal year 2025-26. This will be the 14th consecutive budget under PM Modi's leadership since he assumed office in 2014.
