A unique Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant card has officially surpassed the two most iconic baseball cards in history to claim supremacy in the sports card world.

The card, sold by Dallas-based Heritage Auctions, sold for $12.9 million and surpassed a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle that sold for $12.6 million by Heritage in 2022.

A one-of-one card featuring Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan, their signatures and pieces of their game-worn jerseys will shatter the sales price record for basketball cards when auction closes Saturday.
