The rural village of Hoosick Falls has won a decadelong legal battle against chemical giant DuPont over its contaminated water supply.

DuPont Co. has agreed to settle a federal class-action lawsuit that was filed nearly a decade ago on behalf of residents in and around the village of Hoosick Falls.
