The Kansas City Chiefs might officially be back after their 31-0 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, and Patrick Mahomes might once again be the architect of the league's best offense.

Former Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman was in Las Vegas on Tuesday to try out for the Raiders. Hardman was most recently on the Packers’ practice squad at the start of this season but hasn’t played in a game in 2025.

The Raiders (2-4) are in Kansas City set to kick off their Week 7 game with the Chiefs (3-3). Both teams are coming off wins, but in very different situations. The Raiders faced a hapless Titans team while the Chiefs beat a tough Lions team. And that difference couldn't have been more apparent in this game.

Patrick Mahomes threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns as the Kansas City Chiefs shut out the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0.

Regarding the Raiders, Tre Tucker is Geno Smith's leading receiver this year, having caught 29 passes for 389 yards and four touchdowns. Vegas spent two draft picks on Dont'e Thornton Jr. and Jack Bech, but the rookies have combined for just 12 receptions, 167 yards and zero touchdowns.
