You can’t access DK Artist Mode from the overworld of Donkey Kong Bananza. It’s only accessible from the title screen. (If you’re in the game, you can return to the title screen by pressing the “+” button and then accessing the save data menu to return to the title screen.)

Donkey Kong Bananza capitalizes on everything that made Super Mario Odyssey so fresh while perfectly adapting it DK, visiting classic concepts in new ways.

Considering Donkey Kong Bananza comes from Nintendo, you'd be forgiven for assuming that pressing B would result in Donkey Kong jumping, just like it does for Mario and pretty much every other 3D platformer. In Bananza, though, that's not the case, as B is actually assigned to DK's punching down move.
