Once you’ve located a Versus Board, you’ll be able to start a Versus Battle. All you have to do is interact with the board and wait for an opponent to accept the Versus Battle.

However, you need to actually pay the 75 gold bars to start the Versus Battle. From here you simply need to hunt down the target you have been given using the hints given on the map of their location.
