GALESBURG, Ill. (KWQC) - The City of Galesburg celebrated Arbor Day by planting a Swamp White Oak tree at King Elementary School, and the city is also receiving national recognition ‐ again.
The donated swamp white oak is expected to grow tall and wide, with roots that will dig deep from its place in a field at the park for decades, even centuries.
