Jacuzzi's smart tubs unwittingly left owners' personal details fully exposed for months until the issue was quietly resolved, a security researcher said.

Some Jacuzzi hot tubs and Sundance spas have been recalled because the temperature sensors may fail to give the proper reading.

The CPSC said the sensor on the Jacuzzi Hot Tubs and Sundance Spas can relay the incorrect temperature, causing the water to become hotter than the set temperature.
