A Huntington resident, Vincent De Rosa died of kidney cancer on July 26 after being diagnosed in August 2022. De Rosa was born on Feb. 11, 1951, in Rocky Point.

Huntington’s newest restaurant is sizzling with flavor. Hana & Rosa, a Japanese and Mexican fusion restaurant, opened in November at the space on New York Avenue that used to be Mission Taco.
