A photo of the family of Minnesota Governor, and Democratic vice presidential nominee, Tim Walz, made the rounds on social media Wednesday. The group was wearing "Nebraska Walz's for Trump" t-shirts.

That photo showed eight people wearing T-shirts reading, "Nebraska Walz's for Trump." The Associated Press published that the people in the real photo were distant cousins of the Walz family.

The Associated Press confirmed the eight people visible in the picture are some of Walz's distant cousins. A rumor circulating online in early September 2024 claimed a photo showed Minnesota Gov.
