Alonso and the Mets will close out the first half with two three-game sets on the road: one against the Baltimore Orioles that starts on Tuesday, and then the other against the Kansas City Royals.

Unsurprisingly, New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso is headed to the All-Star Game for the fifth time in seven years. Although Alonso is familiar with the All-Star process, this year’s trip to Atlanta will be slightly different.
