Over 400 people participated in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson, a 24-hour synchronized worldwide event, Thursday morning at Ocean Breeze Waterpark in Virginia Beach.

Many young children in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District have hardly ever stepped into a swimming pool or the ocean despite living within a short drive to the beach.
