OU football earned its fifth commitment of the 2026 class when three-star safety Niko Jandreau picked the Sooners over Missouri, USC and Washington on Tuesday.

About four months after Jim Nagy was brought on board to revamp the way OU football went about building its roster, administrators are impressed.

OU football's NFL-type front office combined with a fit in Ben Arbuckle's system led Bowe Bentley to choose the Sooners over LSU.

OU landed its 10th commitment in June when four-star offensive lineman Deacon Schmitt chose the Sooners over Alabama and Colorado on Saturday.

Norman native Gavin Frakes, who spent two seasons at New Mexico State and one at Virginia and was committed to OU, has signed with Northwestern.
