In less than two weeks, North Dakota residents will be able to buy blackout license plates for their vehicles.

ST. PAUL — Minnesota’s legal cannabis market took a major step forward Thursday, June 5, as 249 prospective business owners were selected in a highly anticipated license lottery.

Nearly a quarter of a million blackout license plates were sold to Minnesotans last year, by far the most of any specialty plate in the state.

Then, in 2020, the world was finally introduced to the Nissan Z Proto, a nearly production-ready “concept” that would hit the streets the following years as the new Nissan Z.

Nissan revealed the Z Proto, previewing a production version of its next Z car expected to debut next year, powered by a V6 paired with a six-speed manual.

Nissan debuted the Z Customized Proto concept pictured below earlier this year in Japan to preview a raft of aftermarket parts that could be available in the near future.

The 2023 Nissan Z has turned out to be very popular. In fact, it has been so well received that the Z Proto flagship model is now officially sold out in Australia.
