At 4:50 a.m. on July 18, 2019, Newark units were dispatched to a residential structure fire at 268 Moull St. Battalion 1 (BN1) arrived and assumed command.
But it did survive a first fire. A three-alarm fire on Oct. 17, 2019 scorched the entire structure, NJ.com reported. A first-floor ceiling collapsed and nearly trapped firefighters inside.
