Two people are being charged in connection with the drowning death of a 12-year-old Berkshire County girl, who died during a school field trip last year.

Authorities said that Giver was on a field trip as part of Pittsfield Public School’s Herberg Middle School 21st Century summer program to Beartown State Forest in Great Barrington.
