Microsoft has confirmed it has now replaced the Microsoft 365 Chat app for Teams with the new and improved Copilot app with a number of new features for Teams users that they can access.

Microsoft is planning to add Teams chat integration into Outlook. The software giant has started testing this new feature recently, and Microsoft says it will be available for all users in March 2023.

In its entry on the official Microsoft 365 roadmap, the company notes that the new feature will provide, "an easy Teams chat experience from Outlook in the context of a meeting for participants".
