MUKAH: Daro is set to achieve full electrification by the second quarter of 2026 with the implementation of Phase 3 of the Rural Electrification Scheme (RES) grid in Passin.

DARO: The search team have recovered four more bodies of Saturday’s boat tragedy. The discovery was made as early as 6.45am this morning with the first body identified as Naibi Saibi, 63.

“The bridges in the Daro district will be toll-free once work is completed. “All bridges in Sarawak are toll- free,” said the Sarawak Premier.

The 2.43km-long bridge, which connects Pulau Bruit and Daro town in Mukah division, is the second longest river-crossing bridge in Sarawak.
