On Monday, the Auburn University marching band announced on Instagram that it had been selected to record the official main theme for the latest edition of the popular college football game.

The Spencer High Mighty Greenwave Marching Band is collecting snacks and drinks to prepare students for their upcoming season.

The Tigers will be the first school to have its marching band featured in the EA Sports College Football video game. The musical selection will be displayed on the opening screen of the game.

Until this week, though, the band needed to keep its place in the game a secret. Tigers fans can hear their band’s work starting July 10, when EA Sports "College Football 26" is released.

The Auburn University Marching Band was selected to record the main theme song for the soon-to-be-released game, the band announced on its official Instagram account on June 24.
