Srisailam temple officials performed the Kamadahanam ceremony at Gangadhara Mandapam on Wednesday evening, marking the occasion of Phalguna Shuddha Chaturdashi with traditional rituals.

The Srisailam temple management started distribution of one free laddu to each devotee who has darshan of the Lord Mallikarjuna and Goddess Bhramaramba from Monday, and it will go on till February 27.

The Srisailam temple, often referred to as Dakshina Kasi (the Varanasi of the South), is one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas. Which is a home to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba Devi.
