LZ Granderson says the Richie Incognito story calls to mind the power of the mechanism that prevents men from expressing their emotions.

Incognito is receiving a pass for using racial slurs -- at least from his teammates -- because he's considered "an honorary black man," according to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.

According to the Herald, the reason behind this is that Incognito was considered by his teammates to be "an honorary" black man.
