Avalon, the 86-acre mixed-use development in Alpharetta, will light a 40-foot Christmas tree this weekend, and open its skating rink.

Avalon in North Fulton's Alpharetta has opened its holiday ice skating rink, and Santa will be around until Christmas Eve taking photos on a first-come, first-serve basis.
