Over 143,000 pounds of Gaiser’s European Style Provisions bologna is being recalled because it contains “meat or poultry source materials" not declared on product labels.
Specifically, over 143,000 pounds of meat and poultry bologna products from Gaiser’s European Style Provisions Inc. are being recalled due to ingredients not found on the food label.
The affected bologna items were produced between March 20 and June 20, 2025, and have the establishment number “EST. 5385” inside the USDA mark of inspection on the product labels.
Nearly 150,000 pounds of ready-to-eat bologna has been recalled by Gaiser's European Style Provisions Inc. due to undeclared meat and poultry material.
The USDA has recalled over 143,000 pounds of bologna nationwide due to undeclared meat ingredients. Check if your deli meat is affected.
The recalled products are: Vacuum-packed packages of “FAMILY TREE BOLOGNA VEAL” containing undeclared pork. Plastic-wrapped packages of “BABUSHKA’S RECIPE CHICKEN BOLOGNA” containing undeclared pork.
"I'm just trying to elevate the smoked bologna sandwich as much as I can, while still keeping it true to what people will expect," owner W.T. Cauley said.
