Water levels on the river Rhine in Germany have fallen again in hot and dry weather and shipping costs are rising as vessels cut loads to continue sailing, commodity traders said on Wednesday.
Around the capital of the German State Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg, the water level of the river Elbe has risen, with the city expecting a flood peak of 5.25 meters (17 feet).
