The Memphis-based nonprofit will expand its free preschool services in Shelby County with the help of federal funding.

The Pre-K program will be free to families. The district said parents will be responsible for getting students to and from school each day.

The daycare center, previously operating out of two separate sites, has combined operations into one larger facility on Archwood Lane.
