Federal authorities have charged a Brecksville man with running a fake ticket scam that defrauded five victims in Northeast Ohio and Florida of a combined $3.3 million.

An unknown number of fake parking tickets were left on cars parked near the beach in Santa Cruz on June 15, the Santa Cruz Police Department announced in a warning to the public.
