Sisyphus: Don’t Stop For Signs Thu., June 18, 2009. By D.F. Oliveria [email protected] (509) 319-0354. X; Email ... Stop at stop signs and lights. Idaho law allows you to go through.
Here's why bikes don't have to stop at stop signs in Washington starting Oct. 1 A new Washington law requires cyclists to safely yield at stop signs, but they are no longer required to fully stop.
To help drivers adjust to the new stop sign, the city has placed warning signs along North Queen Street before the intersection. Those include a dynamic message sign and a stop ahead sign.
"They just don’t stop. They don’t stop at this sign. They ignore the signs on the curb. They know it’s a school. It's constant 2-3 times a week if not more," Roy said.
