Coca-Cola will launch a cane sugar version of its soda in America, an alternative to the corn syrup formula it has used since the 1980s.

Coca-Cola's move comes a week after President Trump said he had been talking to the soft drink giant about using cane sugar rather than high-fructose corn syrup in its signature drink.

For decades, Coke and other beverage makers have used high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners in their U.S. sodas.
