TEHRAN – A fresh restoration plan has put into action on the centuries-old Dezful bridge which stands tall in the southwestern Iranian city.

TEHRAN – An Iranian member of Parliament has emphasized the need for a comprehensive restoration plan to preserve and enhance Dezful’s historical bridge and the city’s ancient watermills.

The oldest bridge in the world, the Arkadiko Bridge, was built more than 3,000 years ago during the Bronze Age by Mycenaean Greeks. This ancient 72-feet bridge is still used by modern Greeks.
